Friends and Family,
I’m honored to share that I’ll be participating in Project Hero’s 2026 Women’s Initiative, beginning January 14. This powerful, multi-day cycling experience is part of a unique rehabilitation effort designed specifically to support and empower female service members and first responders.
The Women’s Initiative provides a confidential, supportive environment where women can heal, grow, and build resilience—both mentally and physically. Through cycling, we’ll challenge ourselves over hundreds of miles, forming lasting connections and discovering renewed strength and confidence along the way.
To make this life-changing experience possible, I need to raise funds to cover my participation costs by December 31. Your donation will not only help me ride, but also support Project Hero’s mission to help women heal through movement, community, and purpose.
Will you please consider contributing to my fundraising page and helping me be part of this incredible journey?
FOR ME personally, Project Hero has been extremely instrumental in figuring out how important my bicycle and cycling are to me, my physical health, but most importantly my MENTAL health. A good bike ride can help me keep my head squared away for almost an entire week. It's given me a family of Brothers and Sisters beyond the guys and gals I served with. Losing the camaraderie is one of the biggest things Veterans complain about when we separate from service.
Their large, week-long events give me motivation to train harder. They are weeks of immense challenges, both physically and mentally. And these smaller, more intimate events, like the Women's Initiative, allow us to gather and support each other in our recovery journeys from whatever traumas we experienced while serving. I'm looking forward to both learning from my Veteran sisters and also hopefully teaching and encouraging my younger Sisters on the bike. It takes a village when in recovery.
So if you have made it this far, if it is in your hear and your pocketbook, please consider donating to my fundraiser for this year's Women's Initiative. It's great to see that Project Hero was able to bring this wonderful women's-only event back after several years of challenging times.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and support!
Peace. Love. And of course, RIDE ON!
