I will be riding 50 miles on June 2nd to honor my brother and friend Joshua Jamieson. Josh was a nine year USMC veteran who served multiple tours overseas defending our freedoms.  Josh passed away last year and at that time I made a promise to myself that I would help bring more awareness and help to veterans who suffer from PTSD. By participating in Project Hero’s New Hampshire Honor Ride, I'm raising funds so that more injured veterans can participate in free, life-changing programs and improve their mental and physical health and wellness.

Every day 20 veterans commit suicide and more than 20 percent of active and retired military have some form of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Working in partnership on research with Georgetown University Hospital and other leading clinical researchers, Project Hero programs have a positive measurable impact on helping those who suffer from PTSD and brain injury.

From building and donating adaptive bikes and producing rehabilitative cycling events throughout the nation to supporting community-based rehabilitation and recovery programs and important medical and clinical research, Project Hero is helping ensure a healthier future for our nation’s healing heroes.
