I am participating in Project Hero's "Ride Inside" Ride on August 22 in support of injured veterans and first responders. Since April, while everything is shut down, I've been riding inside on my bike trainer and have pedaled a total distance of 2959 miles so far and have ascended 157,323 ft (equivalent to climbing Mt Everest 5.4 times!).  Heck!  I recently completed Rouvy's "Climbing Challenge" in 3 days climbing a total of 24,509 feet.  On average I am riding over 1,000 miles/month.  Thanks to Project Hero and Rouvy, I am able to stay sane during this pandemic by participating in these virtual bike rides and conference calling with other Project Hero riders on the same course.
