Air Force Cycle Team (AFCT) Honor Ride Page (Join/Contribute)

Donate Now

I am participating in Project Hero's Ohioe Honor Ride on May 27 to support injured veterans and first responders.

This year, the team will be riding to honor two Airmen.  Airman Noah Muonio and Airman Charlie Hall.

Noah David Muonio, a native of Elk River, MN, was killed in the line of duty in support of his country on 4 August 2012.  He was a member of the Geospatial Measurement and Signatures Intelligence Squadron at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH where he directly supported on-going worldwide combat operations.  Noah will always be remembered for his dedication to his country, NASIC, and the United States Air Force.  He embodied its core values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence is all we do.  He was a model Airman, on the fast track to success, kind hearted, and a tremendous friend to all who knew him.

Airman Charles Franklin Smith (retired) of Miamisburg, OH passed away, January 3, 2023 after months of health struggles. Charlie joined the U.S. Air Force in 1982 and was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, assigned as an Avionic Communication Specialist. In 1984, he was honorably discharged after a life-altering stroke at age 20.  Charlie went on to have a long and successful career in industry, actively supported his family in their sporting and performing arts activities, and volunteered in many ways.  In recent years, he discovered recumbent triking and got an adaptive trike.  He often could be found on the trails riding with his wife who also became a part of his recumbent triking gang.

This Ohio Honor Ride event helps provide recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration services to healing heroes across the country through life-changing programs that improve their mental and physical health and wellness. Please donate and help us save lives by restoring hope and purpose for those who have served.
