I’m riding again — because Project Hero helped save my life.

On November 8, I’ll be taking on the Las Vegas Honor Ride with my team, pushing myself to complete the 42-mile course on my recumbent bike — no electric assist, just heart and determination.

This marks my fourth year riding with Project Hero HUB Las Vegas, and each mile I pedal is a testament to the healing, hope, and community this organization has given me. When I was struggling with my mental health, Project Hero was there. They gave me a place to belong, a reason to get moving, and people who never let me fall behind.

Project Hero provides life-changing rehabilitation and recovery programs for veterans and first responders — those who’ve sacrificed so much and deserve every chance to heal, inside and out.
