About Base Camp

BaseCamp25

Project Hero Base Camp is a multi-day adaptive cycling experience designed to empower injured veterans and first responders. This immersive program combines scenic rides, team-building activities, and personal growth opportunities in a supportive and adventurous environment.

What to Expect:
Morning Rides: Explore the scenic mountain roads of Park City, averaging 30–40 miles per day, while enjoying fresh air and breathtaking landscapes.
Afternoon & Evening Activities:
Archery
Indoor climbing
Pickleball
Equine (horse) experience

Community & Connection: Build camaraderie with fellow participants, develop resilience, and strengthen both mental and physical wellness.

The Impact:

Base Camp serves as a condensed, impactful introduction to the heart of Project Hero. Participants gain confidence, skill and motivation to continue with Project Hero’s adaptive cycling programs and challenges.

Support the Mission:

Participation in Base Camp is made possible through fundraising. Contributions help Project Hero provide adaptive cycling equipment, training and programming to all veterans and first responders.

Join us or support a rider to help make this life-changing experience possible.

For the Park City event, participants will fly into and out of Salt Lake City Airport. All accomodations will be taken care of for Thursday through Sunday and specific details will be sent out via email closer to the event date. Spaces are limited as the group will be kept small.
