Challenge Series - Texas

The Challenge Series is an incredible event that brings together injured veterans, active military and public supporters in a multi-day journey that covers hundreds of miles and is truly an impactful experience.

The California Challenge is more than just a ride, it’s a powerful opportunity for veterans and first responders to come together, push their limits and truly reconnect through the shared experience of cycling and community. Over several days, participants ride 50–84 miles per day as one unified group, supporting one another every mile of the journey. Along the route, riders are welcomed by American Legions, VFWs, Elks Lodges, Knights of Columbus and other community partners whose encouragement and hospitality make the experience truly unforgettable.

Project Hero takes care of the details so you can focus on the ride. Organized rest stops, daily lunches and dinners and hotel accommodations are all provided, creating a fully supported and mission-driven experience. Riders are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event start and finish.

To ensure commitment and help offset event costs, participants are asked to meet a small fundraising minimum
